PIÉCE ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to operate the marketplace:

• Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth).
• Seller Information: Business name, business phone, tax ID, and shop location (only if you register as a seller).
• Transaction Data: Order details, cart items, delivery addresses, and payment proof screenshots (for verification purposes).
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version for troubleshooting and compatibility.
• Location Data: Precise location only when you explicitly use the map picker to set a delivery address.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To process orders and connect buyers with sellers.
• To verify payments and prevent fraud.
• To send push notifications about order status updates.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data:

• With other users as necessary for marketplace transactions (e.g., sellers see buyer delivery addresses for order fulfillment).
• With service providers (e.g., Supabase for database hosting, Firebase for push notifications).
• When required by law or to protect our legal rights.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication via Supabase Auth, and Row-Level Security (RLS) on our database. Payment proof screenshots are stored in encrypted cloud storage.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access and update your personal information through the app.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Opt out of push notifications through your device settings.

6. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time through Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your profile is anonymized and your auth credentials are permanently removed from our systems.

7. Children's Privacy

PIÉCE is a general-audience application. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. Users who place orders or register as sellers must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract under applicable law.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email.
